Dawn French appeared on The One Show today for a chat about her new autobiography ‘Dear Fatty’ amongst other things. The book takes the form of a series of letters. The One Show presenter Adrian Chiles described it as ‘fantastically moving’. Dawn, most famous for her comedy double-act French and Saunders with Jennifer Saunders and classic British sitcom The Vicar of Dibley, talks candidly about her life, her early years as an RAF child, her rise to fame, her relationship with Jennifer Saunders and her marriage to comedian Lenny Henry.

Dear Fatty is already topping the Amazon best-sellers chart, and is an autobiography not to be missed.
