Kites come in many shapes and sizes and can be used for many things, from having fun with your kids in the garden, to kite surfing on a beach. Here’s a run-down of the top 5 kites from 5 to 1:
5. Eolo-Sport Single Line Spy Kite (£29.99 best price)
The Eolo-Sport spy kite is a very cool kite according to Gadget Show presenter Gail Porter, as it is the first to include a built in camera. The camera is attached to the bottom of the spy kite with a remote control on the handle to operate it. It can take pictures up to 25m in the air. The kite itself has a fibreglass frame.

4. HQ Yukon Sports Kite (£39.99)
The Yukon Kite by HQ is a tough all-round kite perfect for tricks in all weather. It is beautifully balanced with a deep sail and a strong frame – great for performing kite stunts. You can get one here
3. Flexifoil Rage Kite (price depends on model size)

2. Peter Lynn Vibe Power Kite (£59.99)
The Peter Lynn Vibe is an entry-level power kite. The sail is cross vented which improves stability. It’s quite deep which creates a lot of drag – a great combination of ease of use and manouevrability. Get one here

The Aerostuff Fury was the best kite according to The Gadget Show. It is a preceision kite for high speed stunts. The fury has a large ‘window’ and a polyester sail making it nippy enough to do some amazing tricks. You can get one here
