Alan used a Spy Pen to secretly film guests in his green room performing a ‘conga’ routine. Whether this was staged or not is unclear, but what is clear is that the Spy Pen is a nifty piece of equipment. It looks and works like a normal pen, but just above the clip is a tiny camcorder lens which can be activated discreetly by pressing a button on top of the pen. This records video and sound onto the Spy Pen, up to 4GB worth of film. Possibly the most surprising thing about the Spy Pen is the price – we’ve found one on Amazon for £24.99.
