Yesterday on The Alan Titchmarsh Show, Alan showed viewers a CD entitled Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of The Beatles. The concept behind Roackabye Baby is great – turn classic songs from great bands into lullabies that please both baby and parent at the same time. What better way to rock your baby to sleep than a lullaby rendition of Yellow Submarine. Most of the songs are so familiar, parents will find themselves singing along to the tune. What a great way to teach your new baby the sound of your own voice, whilst helping them nod off to sleep at the same time.
The Rockabye Baby Beatles CD featured on The Alan Titchmarsh Show features lullaby versions of classic Beatles hits such as Yesterday, Yellow Submarine, Strawberry Fields Forever and Here Comes The Sun. These four are particularly well suited to lullaby versions with their lilting and catchy melodies. Certain songs don’t translate quite as well, but overall the quality is excellent and the tunes should really help to relax your baby.
Rockabye Baby also produce lullaby versions of songs by other artists such as Coldplay, U2, The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Nirvana. Here at ISIOTB towers we think that Coldplay and The Beatles, if you like these bands of course, translate particularly well to lullaby versions of their songs.
