The Pioneer G9 Kuro flat screen television was the second item featured on the gadget round-up. The one they had in the studio had a whopping 50 inch screen, and they said it was the latest top spec high definition television from Pioneer.

The G9 is part of the Pioneer Kuro range. Kuro is Japanese and means ‘black’. The true black background accentuates the other colours on screen making everything really vivid and stand-out. It is a ‘crystal-clear’ viewing experience according to Tim Lovejoy.

Another stand-out feature of the Pioneer G9 Kuro is the optimum mode, so if you’re not very technically minded yourself, it will suss out the lighting conditions in the room itself and it will adjust the picture settings automatically.

The Pioneer G9 Kuro is around £2400 for the 50 inch as seen on Something For The Weekend, and you can purchase one and find out more information from the official Pioneer website by clicking here
