Live Luggage was the second gadget featured on this week’s Something for the Weekend. Gadget guru Seema Palmer explained that Live Luggage was the world’s first electronically power assisted suitcase. There is a motor on the suitcase which kicks in when it is pulled along, making it fantastically easy to move through airports etc.

The Live Luggage electronic suitcase has an adjustable handle and motor to make it ultra-easy to move around, no matter how heavy your stuff. Tim Lovejoy demonstrated taking the Live Luggage suitcase up some stairs. Live Luggage also features a phone number on each case with a specific code. If you lose your suitcase, whoever finds it can call the number, speak to Live Luggage who will then contact you with the location of your suitcase. It also has a skeleton key system which makes it easy for airport security to get into your case without breaking it if they need to.

The Live Luggage electric suitcase costs around £640 and you can buy direct from the Live Luggage website.
