The Eco Showerdrop was the first of this week’s Something forthe Weekend gadgets. Ella Williamson explained that the Eco Showerdrop is a universal shower meter which measures the amount of time spent and litres of water used whilst you are in the shower.

The Eco Showerdrop comes with a measuring bag. Simply use the bag to measure how long your shower takes to use a litre of water, then the Eco Showerdrop will calculate how long it takes to use the recommended eco-friendly amount of shower water, 35 litres. When you’ve used 35 litres of water, an alarm sounds on the Eco Showerdrop. It’s cheap at around a tenner, and could save you money in the long run.
