beep egg classic Beep Egg Classic as seen on Something for the Weekend

The Beep Egg Classic is an innovative way of cooking the perfect egg, and it was the last of this week’s Something for the Weekend gadgets. Seema Palmer explained that you simply pop the beep egg in the pan at the same time as your real egg. The Beep Egg then plays songs depending on how the real egg is cooked. When the real egg is soft, the Beep Egg will play Killing me Softly. When the real egg is medium cooked, the Beep Egg will play I Wish I Was A Hen, and when the real egg is hard boiled, the Beep Egg egg timer plays Carmina Burana.

The Beep Egg is great for anyone who cooks eggs but struggles to get the timing right sometimes (most of us!). An innovative and fun egg timer which is very handy to have around in the kitchen. The Beep Egg retails for around £15 according to Something for the Weekend’s Seema Palmer, but we found a Beep Egg timer online for £9.99.
