Back in April, Russell Brand appeared on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross to talk about his new autobiography My Booky Wook. Yes, it was a while ago, but in light of the suspension of Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross from the BBC today, the clip above may be the last time you see these two comics on the BBC.

My Booky Wook is the story of Russell Brand’s life thus far. In it, Brand deals with his sex addiction, drug addiction, his upbringing and charts his rise to fame from lowly junkie to one of the UK’s foremost comedians. It is a very entertaining read from start to finish.

Brand will no doubt be regretting his lewd phonecalls to the answering machine of Fawlty Towers ‘Manuel’ Andrew Sachs with Jonathan Ross, who with Brand was suspended by the BBC today. Brand did make an apology, but it was light-hearted and not very sincere.

In the meantime as we wait to see what will happen to Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross, you can watch the clip above in which Russell chats to Jonathan about aspects of his life. Or you could buy My Booky Wook.
