The Baby Loves Disco idea was brought into the Dragon’s Den by American Andy and Naomi Timperley from the UK.
Andy and Naomi were first into the Den and were looking for a £100,000 investment for a 10% stake in Baby Loves Disco UK Limited.
Baby Loves Disco was started in the US in 2005. The premise was simple: to create an event that children and parents can enjoy together. Baby Loves Disco was started in New York City, and is now in 30 cities in the US.
The event is for parents and childen aged 8 months to 7 years, and features a DJ playing classic hits from the 70′s and 80′s. Baby Loves Disco is a three hour event on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon in a baby-proofed venue. Nappy changing facilities are available along with healthy snacks and juice boxes for the children. Face painting and a chill out area also feature as part of a Baby Loves Disco event.
