Big Brother is back on our screens with a bang for the 2009 series. Last thursday Davina announced the 16 contestants and the initial twist - none of them are proper housemates until they have earned full housemate status. First to earn housemate status was Rodrigo and Noirin followed by Lisa and Kris. Last night Saffia, Charlie and Karly completed Special Forces tasks to earn the right to sleep in the Big Brother bedroom.

Current Big Brother 2009 favourite is Brazilian bi-sexual Rodrigo followed by gay geordie Charlie and ladies man Kris, but this early in the competition the odds are subject to wild change. More housemates are expected to arrive as the weeks progress and the tension builds and nerves begin to play a part.
