Funnyman Jimmy Carr presents Channel 4’s topical survey comedy panel show 8 out of 10 Cats, featuring team captains Sean Locke and Jason Manford. But Jimmy is much more than just a TV show host. Despite dabbling in film acting (Alien Autopsy, Confetti), appearing on Top Gear (’the worst driver we’ve ever had’ The Stig) and Lloyds TSB adverts amongst other things, Jimmy Carr’s main occupation is stand-up comedy.

So far Jimmy Carr has released 3 stand-up comedy DVDs: Jimmy Carr: Live, Jimmy Carr: Stand Up and Jimmy Carr: Comedian. He has a new stand-up DVD out on 3rd November entitled Jimmy Carr in Concert, which is likely to be as if not more hilarious than the past three offerings. He also wrote a book on jokes, called The Naked Jape: Uncovering the Hidden World of Jokes, which is the ‘best book about jokes ever’ according to David Baddiel.
