Britain’s Got Talent returns for a third series tonight on ITV1. Judges Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell will once again preside over a boat-load of solo singers, musicians, acrobats, dancers, mime-artists, dancing dogs, contortionists, ventriloquists, impressionists trying to decide who should make it into the final of Britain’s Got Talent 2009.

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for a few years, you will at least have heard of Paul Potts, winner of the first series of Britain’s Got Talent. Former mobile phone salesman Paul wowed and won the hearts of millions of UK viewers with his astounding version of Nessum Dorma. His first audition became a worldwide YouTube sensation with well over 50 million views.
