Leona Lewis appeared on the X Factor on Saturday night to sing a cover of the Snow Patrol classic ‘Run’. Leona won the X Factor herself in the third series of the show to become the first female X Factor winner and joining fellow winners Steve Brookstein, Shayne Ward and Leon Jackson in the record books. Leona has been the most successful of all the X Factor winners, enjoying astronomical success both here and abroad, most notably America, when her debut album ‘Spirit’ was released.
Spirit is about to be re-issued in time for Christmas, as a ‘deluxe’ edition containing a CD and DVD. It comes complete with all the great hits from the original Spirit album including Bleeding Love, Better in Time, A Moment Like This and Footprints in the Sand. It also includes 3 new songs, ‘Run’ a cover of the Snow Patrol hit; ‘Misses Glass’ and new single ‘Forgive Me’, a collaboration with Akon. The enclosed DVD includes a making of the new single ‘Forgive Me’ video and all the music videos from Spirit including UK and US versions of A Moment Like This and Bleeding Love.
