Escala are an electric string quartet who shot to fame on last year’s Britain’s Got Talent, reaching the final of the competition before narrowly losing to eventual winner George Sampson.

On last night’s show the girls performed Kashmir, a song originally by Led Zeppelin which they have covered for their new album in collaboration with Slash. The new Escala album also features songs performed on last year’s Britain’s Got Talent including Palladio and Live and Let Die.
