Jonathan Ross is back on our screens with a new ITV chat show. His first guests of the new series were Sarah Jessica Parker, F1 ace Lewis Hamilton and singer Adele. Halfway through the show Jonathan brought the audience’s attention to a jar of Bacon Jam. Yes that’s right, there is such a thing as bacon jam.
How is bacon jam made? Apparently they render down a load of really tasty bacon, add onions, spices and balsamic vinegar, puree it and chill it. Delicious on warm crusty bread apparently.
The bacon jam used on the show doesn’t look like it’s commercially available yet, but we know it’s made by Eat 17. Fear not though, for we have found some bacon jam which looks incredibly similar to the one seen on The Jonathan Ross Show, which you can buy online here
