So, The X Fatctor is yet again proving a huge commercial success, and with the acts dwindling each week the excitement is building. Who will win the X Factor and that all-important recording contract, and probable Christmas number one? More importantly though, how do you download the X Factor performances? Here is our easy guide on how to download X Factor songs:
How to download X Factor songs:
1) Download iTunes from Apple
First things first, X Factor songs in 2011 are exclusive to iTunes, so you need to download iTunes first. It’s free and you can get iTunes here
2) Download the X Factor Songs
Once you have iTunes installed on your computer you can search for ‘X Factor’, and it will bring up all the X Factor performances for you to download – from Amelia Lily to Craig Colton or Janet Devlin. You can preview the performances before you buy them – they cost just under £1 for each song.
3) Get something to play them on!
Once you’ve downloaded the X Factor songs to iTunes you can play them through your PC or Mac simply by selecting them and pressing play. But if you want to take the songs with you on the go you will need an iPod or iPhone to play them on. The new Apple operating system now allows songs to be synced wirelessly between devices, so you won’t even need to plug your iPod into your computer – the songs will be automatically transferred.

The X Factor is back and bigger than ever for 2010, with a whole host of wannabees attempting to become the next Shane Ward or Leona Lewis. Or, in Wagner’s case, the next Chico or Jedward. Last weekend’s show featured Elton John songs, and performances on the Sunday from two of the greatest boy bands in pop history, Westlife and Take That.
So who will take the X Factor crown this year? Paige? Matt? Katie? Wagner?

The X Factor is sweeping the nation and stirring up controversy every Saturday and Sunday night. Simon Cowell made a hugely unpopular decision on last week’s show when he decided to save John and Edward’s bacon by allowing the final decision between Jedward and Lucie to go to a public vote. The public decided that they wanted to see more of Jedward and Lucie was unfortunately booted off the show. The decision has not gone down well with a large part of the British viewing public.
What will happen next week? Will John and Edward be saved again? Will one of the favourites, such as Danyl Johnson or Stacey Solomon have to leave the show?

Leona Lewis chatted to Apprentice winner Kate Walsh on Live From Studio Five about her new album, Echo which has a release date of 16th November 2009. Leona Lewis is by far and away the most successful X Factor winner, selling many million copies of her last album Spirit. She managed to crack the States, a feat which eludes so many successful UK music artists.
Echo sees Leona Lewis working with the likes of Ne-Yo, and the album contains a stonking cover of the Oasis song ‘Stop Crying Your Heart Out’. This album is guaranteed to hit the number one slot in multiple countries and will make an excellent stocking filler this Christmas.
