God Bless America is the new book by Piers Morgan, the ex-Daily Mirror Editor and now globally successful TV personality. Piers Morgan appears as one of the judges on both Britain’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent alongside the likes of Simon Cowell, David Hasslehoff and Sharon Osbourne.

Piers Morgan appeared on the Paul O’Grady show for a chat last night about his book and to tell a few anecdotes, including his visit to Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion with his girlfriend. God Bless America is a fascinating and interesting book about the adventures of Piers Morgan, the new ‘nasty Brit’ on American television, and his regular brushes with fame and celebrity over there. Piers revealed that his book is based on a diary he updates nearly every night.

First up was Saturday Night and Sunday Morning, a film that Paul O’Grady confessed to love. It’s an old classic film from 1960 starring Albert Finney that has aged very well. Saturday Night and Sunday Morning also stars Shirley Ann Field and Hylda Baker.

Jon Culshaw appeared on The Paul O’Grady Show yesterday with nothing in particular to plug – a refreshing change from most celebrities on these kinds of shows! Jon Culshaw is an excellent impressionist, one of the very best in the UK if not the world and he had Paul O’Grady in stitches with his spot-on impressions of Paul O’Grady himself, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Ozzie Osbourne and Denise Robertson.

Jon Culshaw has recently appeared in the BBC show Dead Ringers, a comedy impressionist show where leading figures in the world of politics, sport, entertainment and celebrity are impersonated to a tee by Jon and others. Dead Ringers was also a very successful radio programme, as obviously impressions of famous people translate well to that medium. There is a Dead Ringers Audio CD available to buy from Amazon, and it is very funny.

Metro Station appeared on The Paul O’Grady Show last night. For those of you wondering who Metro Station are, they are a band formed out of social networking sites, fronted by brother of Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus, Trace Cyrus. Metro Station have a huge legion of online fans and thanks largely to MySpace they became an internet phenomenon in a matter of weeks.

The Eco Seed Crackers were featured on The Paul O’Grady Show last week. During a feature presented by ‘It’s Not Easy Being Green’s’ Dick Strawbridge, Biome’s Eco Seed Crackers were nominated as a great way of making your Christmas greener.
