La Toya Jackson, fresh from her recent stint on Celebrity Big Brother, appeared on Loose Women today to talk about her experiences with Loose Women regulars Jackie Brambles, Colleen Nolan, Carol McGiffin and Denise Welch. La Toya Jackson was fourth to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house. La Toya Jackson was never part of the Jackson 5, but she became a solo singer in her own right in the 80′s and 90′s, enjoying success with albums entitled La Toya Jackson, Heart Don’t Lie and Bad Girls amonst others.

La Toya Jackson chatted to the Loose Women about her time in the Big Brother house, in which she formed a friendship with Verne Troyer and Coolio, and took part in several weird and wacky tasks including a secret mission where she had to wear a costume and make her other housemates laugh.

Seal popped into the Loose Women studio today for a chat with the girls and to perform his new single It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World, taken from his new album Soul which is now available to buy. Soul is Seal’s seventh album, on which he teams up with the likes of Celine Dion, Josh Groban and Michael Buble to pay homage to and create orginal covers to huge soul hits from some of his favourite soul singers, from Al Green to James Brown.

Today’s Loose Women featured comedian Jason Manford. Perhaps best known for his role as Team Captain on 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Jason Manford is also a stand-up comedian and is currently touring the UK. He took some time to chat to the Loose Women about his tour.

Jason revealed that part of his stand up routine involves chatting about the comedic aspects of the relationship with his wife, such as going shopping ‘following her round and paying for stuff’.

Loose Women’s Jane McDonald asked Jason whether stand up was harder to perform in certain areas of the country. Jason replied that up north, the audience was generally more interactive, shouting out things whereas audiences down south were slightly more reserved.

Marti Pellow was one of the guests on today’s Loose Women, discussing his life, Wet Wet Wet and his new solo career. Marti is currently on tour around the UK, and in April he released a new album of ballads entitled ‘Sentimental Me’ which would make a great gift for any Marti Pellow or Wet Wet Wet fan.

Christian O’Connell, who appeared as a guest on ITV’s Loose Women recently, is the presenter of the weekday breakfast show on Virgin Radio. He’s recently put pen to paper to create the definitive dissection of what it’s like to be a real life man. His book is titled ‘The Men Commandments‘.

In one of the chapters from The Men Commandments, Christian explained to the Loose Women gang that he has tried to explain what the 78 genetic differences between man and women are. Christian admitted that men are quite easy to please: “It starts in their pants and goes no further to be honest”. The book compares men and women’s different attitudes to list making, and the ‘I’ll have one of yours’ gene which women seem to possess.
