Top floral designer Simon Lycett popped into the GMTV studios today to talk about flowers for Mother’s Day, which is this Sunday for anyone who needs reminding. There were a whole variety of flowers on display, and they discussed flowers for every budget. Simon said that gift wrap on flowers could be costly so if you’re on a budget, don’t use it.
Good British daffodils were recommended as a cheap flowers option for Mother’s Day by Simon Lycett. You can arrange them, tie them and present them in a vase yourself, saving yourself lots of money whilst keeping your Mum happy this Sunday.

Dr Hilary Jones joined GMTV in 1993. He is the resident GMTV health and medical advisor, and today he took part in a feature regarding the difficulty some older people have using and understanding the internet. Aside from his GMTV work, Dr Hilary Jones has produced a number of CDs and books on numerous health-related subjects including CDs on Sleep, Perfect Weight and Ultimate Relaxation, and a book on how to survive the menopause.
He was only 21 when he burst onto the music scene 3 years ago and in that time James Morrison has already notched up a string of hits like You Give Me Something and Wonderful World. James Morrison appeared on GMTV with Lorraine to perform his new single Please Don’t Stop the Rain, taken from his latest album Songs For You, Truths For Me. Please Don’t Stop the Rain is a catchy song which is sure to do well in the UK charts.
GMTV fashion expert Mark Heyes mentioned 3 different types of special shaping underwear on this morning’s GMTV with Lorraine. He said these were perfect for women who wanted to shape their hips under their dresses. First up were Spanx which he described as being absolutely incredible.
Then there was the Aristoc Body Toners which Mark Heyes described as being really good underwear for giving women that hourglass figure.
Finally Mark recommended the Flexees underwear for holding in the tummy, and revealed that the Flexees was the underwear he got for Lady GaGa.

This morning Richard Arnold told GMTV viewers that James Bond Blu-ray discs are now available. In time for the release of new Bond film Quantum of Solace, viewers who own a HD ready TV and a Blu-ray player can now see previous incarnations of the suave English spy in full 1080p high definition.
It’s 30 years since the release of Grease at the cinema, and this morning X-Factor runner up Ray Quinn appeared on GMTV to discuss Grease the Musical which he is currently starring in at the Piccadilly Theatre.
To mark the 30th anniversary of Grease, the film is being re-released across cinemas in the UK. Grease the Musical is currently showing in London’s West End until the middle of November. Ray, who plays T-Bird Doody in Grease the Musical, chatted to Andrew and Kate about what the role involves.
Ray Quinn is 20 years old, and Andrew and Kate commented that the original Grease was out 10 years before Ray was even born. Ray said that his favourite song is Grease Lightning. A trained dancer since the age of three, Ray Quinn said he finds that dancing on Grease the Musical comes naturally to him.
