Deal or No Deal is now available in the form of an electronic table top game, in time for Christmas. For anyone who is not familiar with Deal or No Deal, it is a smash hit game show hosted by Noel Edmonds where contestants have the chance to win anything from 1p to £250,000. Every day one person is selected in the so-called ‘Dream Factory’ to take one box to the centre table, then pick off the other 21 sealed boxes in groups of three. Each box contains an amount from 1p to £250,000. Every three picks, the enigmatic ’Banker’ makes an offer to the contestant for their box. It’s up to the contestant, based on what amounts are remaining in their game, whether to say ‘Deal’ or ‘No Deal’ to the banker’s offer.

Deal or No Deal is an edge-of-your-seat, exciting gameshow with every game being completely fresh and different, and the Deal or No Deal electronic table top game continues in this tradition. Up to 4 players can play the game, making it an instant family favourite at Christmas.

LED Belt Buckle as worn by audience member on Deal or No Deal

Scrolling LED belt buckle as seen on DOND.

ledbeltbuckle LED Belt Buckle as worn by audience member on Deal or No Deal

Yesterday’s Deal or no Deal featured a man who dealt on his 3rd offer, which was £23,000 I think. He should never have dealt that early – he had a great board and Noel berated it for him, especially when it was revealed that he had £50,000 in his own box.

The funniest thing about this episode was when a man in the crowd stood up to reveal he was wearing an LED belt buckle with a scrolling message which read something like ‘Jim (can’t remember the guy’s real name) to win quarter of a mill!

The LED belt buckle was a pretty cool fashion accessory I thought – good for a novelty night out, a stag do for instance, or an appearance on Deal or no Deal.

I scouted the internet and surprisingly at shops like Amazon and Play.com, the LED belt buckle is advertised but labelled as no longer available. There are a couple of other suppliers I found thanks to Google:

 Belt Buckles Galore

Grindstone

Prices for an LED scrolling belt buckle start from around £14.99.
