Blue Peter means something to children of every generation from the 1950′s onwards, and next month it celebrates it’s 50th anniversary.
Former Blue Peter editor Biddy Baxter has compiled a book of some of the best letters sent in by children (and some adults too). The book is now available to buy from Amazon at £8.44 (hardcover).
The book is titled: Dear Blue Peter…: The Best of 50 Years of Letters to Britain’s Favourite Children’s Programme 1958-2008.
Some 75% of programme ideas for Blue Peter came from the letters sent in. This book is a fascinating read for any Blue Peter fan.
