Al Murray’s Happy hour is classic friday night entertainment. An unconventional chat-show set in a mock-up pub setting complete with bar which Al regularly uses to down pints and offer drinks for his guests, a pint for the fellahs and a glass of white wine or fruit based drink for the ladies. Al Murray is undoubtedly the best thing about the show. If you’re fed-up of politically correct (PC) Britain, you are sure to love Al Murray.

Al Murray’s classic recurring jokes include the hilarious dig at other European nations: “If we didn’t have enough rules where would we be? FRANCE! If we had too many rules where would we be? GERMANY!”

The Al Murray’s Happy Hour complete series one is available to buy from October 6th, 2008. Al Murray has plenty of other DVD’s out, including live stand-up gigs in a similar style to Al Murray’s Happy Hour (minus the celebrity guests) filmed live at venues like the Palladium.
