The Burton Lil’ Buddy Cooler Cool bag with integrated speakers was the first of this week’s Something for the Weekend gadgets. At around £40 it’s reasonably priced considering its wealth of features.

The Lil’ Buddy cooler has room for around 12 cans or bottles. There is a handy bottle opener on the side of the bag. The best bit according to Something for the Weekend gadget guru Ella Williamson is the integrated speaker system, allowing you to plug in your Ipod or similar MP3 player for music on the go. This cool bag is ideal for chilling at the beach with a few drinks and some music.

See Margate as seen on The Apprentice

The Apprentice, Travel No Comments »

The Kent seaside resort of Margate was subject to a re-branding task on The Apprentice this week. Team Empire, PM’ed by Deborah, used the idea of the Pink Pound to rebrand Margate as a gay hotspot. They scored badly, and lost the task to Team Ignite who went for a more traditional and safe family rebrand. Mona was given the chop by Sir Alan this week.

Margate has been in decline over the years, with an ageing population and renovation work needed on certain buildings. However in the current economic climate Margate looks set to benefit from the credit crunch with more and more UK families choosing to holiday in the UK this summer.

If you would like to visit Margate, the Kent seaside town as seen on The Apprentice, you can book a hotel room at up to 50% discount from HotelPronto - click here for Margate Hotels.
