Pointless The Board Game, £17.99 #pointless

If you’re a fan of the TV Show Pointless you will love the Pointless Board Game, as it’s based on the Alexander Armstrong-fronted BBC quiz show. The trick to winning Pointless is to delve into the very depths of your general knowledge to come up with an answer that no-one else can think of. Obscure and pointless knowledge is the order of the day here.

The Pointless Board Game is for 2-4 players, or more in teams. A series of questions is presented to the players. These questions have also been asked of 100 other people. The aim is to think of an answer which is not only correct but also the least popular of all the answers given. So, for the question ‘Name a film starring Leonardo Di Caprio’, Titanic would be a bad answer (popular) whereas Man In The Iron Mask would be a good answer (less popular).

Pointless is a great Christmas board game providing hours of fun for all the family.

Next was a cute Halloween baby pumpkin outfit from Tesco, £10. It isn’t currently available on the Tesco website but they do have a whole range of baby and toddler halloween outfits here, or a similar baby halloween outfit for £10 from Marks & Spencer here.

These Dracula Halloween outfits cost £10 from ASDA complete with waistcoat top, trousers, cape and mask.

Doggy Doo Game as seen on The Jonathan Ross Show, £22

Doggy Doo Game as seen on The Jonathan Ross Show, £22

The Doggy Doo game was featured on The Jonathan Ross Show recently. Doggy Doo, or Doggie Doo, is like no game you’ve ever seen. It caused a lot of giggles amongst the Jonathan Ross Show audience.

Jonathan Ross explained that the aim of the Doggy Doo Game was simple - to clear up the toy dog poo. Jonathan put a piece of plasticine ‘poo’ into the mouth of the Doggy Doo toy. The toy is attached to a lead. Players take turns to roll a dice, and then squeeze the Doggy Doo game’s lead the specified number of times. An unpleasant sound was heard each time Jonathan Ross squeezed the lead of the Doggy Doo Game.

Eventually, the piece of plasticine exits the Doggy Doo game via the dog’s rear entrance, and the player who just squeezed the lead to cause this must scoop up the poo with the included Doggy Doo Game shovel. The whole process is then repeated. The person who scoops up 3 dog poos first is declared the winner of this hilarious dog doo game.

The Doggy Doo game is truly unique – Jonathan Ross admitted on the show that he had never seen anything like it. This would also potentially make a great drinking game, with the player who causes the poo to exit thedog having to drink a shot of alcohol. It’s a game that is guaranteed to cause howls of laughter.
