Since coming back to the UK Shaun has made several TV appearances to promote his new album. This morning he appeared on This Morning to talk about his new album, XXX 30 Years of Bellyaching.

These Midland Ear Warmer Headphones were the first of this week’s Something for the Weekend gadgets. They have a decent sound quality, and they are the first headphones which keep your ears warm, being all furry on the inside. The speaker is behind the furry lining of the Midland Ear Warming Headphones. They come in fabric or leather, various different colours and they only cost £25, so a great stocking filler gadget.
Nicole Scherzinger of Pussycat Dolls fame and ‘dating Lewis Hamilton’ fame appeared on The Alan Titchmarsh Show on ITV to sing her brand new solo single, Poison. Poison is an upbeat catchy pop song and it should launch Nicole Scherxinger’s solo career into the stratosphere. Nicole didn’t have time to hang around for a chat with gardener-turned-presenter Alan after the performance.

Comedy pair Ricky Gervais and Karl Pilkington appeared on The One Show to talk about their new DVDs, both of them out in time for Christmas. The new DVD from Ricky Gervais is called Ricky Gervais Live 4 – Science. On The One Show they showed a hilarious clip from the DVD of Ricky talking about autograph hunters. “Even trainspotters look down on autograph hunters” according to Ricky Gervais.
Ricky also told One Show presenters Chris Evans and Alex Jones about his new sitcom, co-written again by Stephen Merchant, entitled ‘Life’s Too Short’. It is a fake documentary about the life of Warrick Davis, a mid-life crisis and a career ‘on the skids’.
Karl Pilkington is a close friend of Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. He shot to fame as a result of his appearances on Ricky’s XFM radio show where Karl worked as a producer. A string of mega-successful podcasts followed, and now Karl Pilkington has his own DVD. An Idiot Abroad originally screened on Sky 1, and is a travel program with a twist – it’s presented by ‘an idiot’ according to Ricky Gervais. Follow Karl as he takes in the Seven Wonders of the World, and marvels at sights like the pyramids “crap design”, the Taj Mahal “probably shit at the back”, the statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio “Jimmy Hill-ish” and plenty more. An Idiot Abroad is hilarious. A fantastic Christmas present.

Westlife appeared on The Alan Titchmarsh Show for a chat and to perform a song from their upcoming new album. Released on 22nd November, Gravity is the new album by the mega-successful Irish boy band. Believe it or not, Gravity is Westlife’s 11th album. Interestingly, the title of the album was suggested to the band by a fan via Twitter. Only the Beatles and Elvis have outsold Westlife in the UK. Westlife recently appeared on The X Factor on the same show as JLS another huge boy band, Take That.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor appeared on The Alan Titchmarsh Show to perform her collaboration single with the Freemasons, Heartbreak Give Me The Answer. Watch the video here:
