These Touch Screen Gloves were the second of this week’s Something for the Weekend gadgets. At £12.99 they are an excellent buy in time for Christmas. With the freezing conditions around the country at the moment, gloves are a necessity. Metal Detector Flip Flops were the first of this week’s Something for the Weekend gadgets. Also known as Treasure Seeker’s Shoes, these flip flops act as a metal detector with the aid of a small unit you strap to one of your legs. They look like normal flip flops, but when activated these metal detector flip flops will beep or vibrate if you step over something metal, when walking on the beach, for instance. Who knows, a stroll along the beach could lead to you uncovering treasure and becoming an instant millionaire – making these metal detector flip flops an absolute bargain at around £40.
