The Adidas TerrexPro sunglasses were the second of this week’s Something for the Weekend gadgets. They come in a box packed with lots of different lenses for different light. The Adidas Terrex Pro glasses are good for mountaineers and outdoor enthusiasts. There is a twin filter included with anti fog coating which means clear vision and no fogging of the sunglasses even in the most extreme conditions. The Burton Lil’ Buddy Cooler Cool bag with integrated speakers was the first of this week’s Something for the Weekend gadgets. At around £40 it’s reasonably priced considering its wealth of features.

The Lil’ Buddy cooler has room for around 12 cans or bottles. There is a handy bottle opener on the side of the bag. The best bit according to Something for the Weekend gadget guru Ella Williamson is the integrated speaker system, allowing you to plug in your Ipod or similar MP3 player for music on the go. This cool bag is ideal for chilling at the beach with a few drinks and some music.

The Lightsabre Umbrella was the second of this week’s Something for the Weekend gadgets. At around £20 it is a very cool and cheap piece of fashion gadgetry. It looks like a normal umbrella and functions like a normal umbrella, but when you open it the umbrella pole lights up light a blue lightsabre from Star Wars.

The Lightsabre Umbrella is sure to get you noticed and can provide some jedi-style illumination on a pitch black night.

MP3 sunglasses were the first of this week’s Something for the Weekend gadgets. Nikki Moore explained that the MP3 sunglasses looked like normal sunglasses but with headphones and a built in MP3 player. A button turns them on, and a play button plays your 2 GB worth of tunes which can be uploaded using the mini USB port on the side of your sunglasses. Tim Lovejoy said the MP3 sunglasses were pretty lightweight, great for running and quite cheap. We’ve found some for £27.99

Redundancy is a fact of life, especially at the moment, but this week GMTV with Lorraine is looking at post-redundancy success stories. First up was Hannah Evans. She lost her job, but decided to set up her own business, Piccalilly, as a result.
