The GoGo Hamster Grooming Salon was the second of this week’s Something for the Weekend gadgets, and a great christmas present idea for any little girl. Last year Go Go Hamsters were the sell out item around Christmas time – getting hold of a GoGo Hamster was very tricky indeed and they sold on eBay with huge markups.
It’s not the first time that Go Go Hamsters have featured on Something for the Weekend – we featured them here a year ago.
The Go Go Hamster grooming salon features a hamster feet powered hairdryer and lots of different grooming equipment to make your Go Go Hamster look like the prettiest and most well groomed hamster on the block. The Go Go Hamster Grooming Salon comes complete with mirrors, lights, brushes and grooming supplies!

FurReal Friends Gogo My Walking Pup was the first of this week’s Something for the Weekend gadgets. This toy dog is squarely aimed at kids for Christmas. The Something for the Weekend gadget presenter said that Gogo is a really good interactive walking puppy complete with leash. If you have a child desperate for a puppy this Christmas, then this is the next best thing – without the malting or vet’s bills! Some kids are allergic to puppies – they won’t be allergic to this cute little toy.
You can pet Gogo and he will sound excited, you can tickle his tummy. Put Gogo My Walking Pup on the floor and he will walk unaided, with you holding his leash. If you stop petting him, he will get sad. Perfect for young children at Christmas, said Something for the Weekend presenter Tim Lovejoy.

The Taga was the last of this week’s Something for the Weekend gadgets. Ella Williamson explained to Tim Lovejoy that the Taga was a pushchair and a bike in one. Converting it from a pushchair to a bike is apparently much easier than they made it look on Something for the Weekend. When the Taga is a bike, the baby can still be carried on the front. The two wheels at the front and one at the back make it very stable.
The Taga pushchair bike costs around £1700. More information here

Redundancy is a fact of life, especially at the moment, but this week GMTV with Lorraine is looking at post-redundancy success stories. First up was Hannah Evans. She lost her job, but decided to set up her own business, Piccalilly, as a result.
Piccalilly sells organic fair trade certified baby clothes. Hannah decided to launch Piccalilly because she believed there was a gap in the market for organic brightly coloured baby clothes. Piccalilly has gone from strength to strength, and they now have more than 150 retailers worldwide.
