Last night the Snooker Masters Championship concluded on BBC, with Ronnie O’Sullivan clinching a hard-fought 10-8 victory over 2008 Masters Champion Mark Selby. The Rocket and the Jester from Leicester were nip and tuck throughout the day in a hard-fought final that was at times scrappy but always captivating, until Ronnie managed to take a 9-8 lead before clinching the match in the final frame after a couple of re-racks.
Ronnie O’Sullivan’s autobiography entitled ‘Ronnie’ is a must read for any O’Sullivan and/or Snooker fan. Ronnie writes candidly about his upbringing, his father and his own personal battles in and out of rehab. ‘Ronnie’ also charts the rise and rise of arguably the best snooker player the world has ever seen, from snooker halls in London to the Crucible. He also gives his opinions on his fellow players, and reveals some entertaining anecdotes involving some of his famous celebrity friends.
